Cast Cable in the Deadpool film.

I'm asking for help here. The only person I can think of for this role would be Kurt Russell. Even if he is a bit aged. But then again, Nathan Dayspring Summers isn't a young man. So, who would you guys think would make a great Cable if he was in the Dead Pool movie?

Michael Biehns name gets tossed around for Cable a lot. I could see him as the soldier of the apocalypse (not the character), but as the pseudo-savior version that appeared in Cable and Deadpool I dont see it

If I had to cast Cable, I'd go with David Morse. Amazing actor, great ability and he has the age and sheer badassedness.

That actually wouldn't be a bad casting at all but he would have to be quite a bit older than James Marsden. I guess they could just load him with makeup.

After seeing that picture of Stephen Lang I'd have a hard time thinking of anybody else as Cable. Good call.

I would have to go with Bruce Willis. He has the gruff style, the body size/build, and he looks a lot like Cable.

Black Tom: Gerard Butler
Cable: Bruce Willis

Now that is a dynamic cast with some chemistry.
