Based on the 1966 movie , but made in the 1990s with the camp, and retro 1960s look .
BATMAN ( 1996 )
Director : David Lynch

The Cast

Batman / Bruce Wayne : Kyle Mclaughlin
Probably not the first actor that would come to mind to play Batman, But to play Adam West's version,
Mclaughlin could totally pull of the earnestness, and over the top nature, of West's deadpan, Batman.

Robin / Dick Grayson : James Marsden
Another actor that probably wouldn't come to mind as Robin, but as Burt Ward's stupidious and overachieving Robin,
I could totally see Marsden bringing the same hysterical acting and earnestness he did in Enchanted .
I could also see him saying " Holy " this and " Holy " that..

Catwoman / Miss Kitka : Sharon Stone
I could also see her pulling off more of the slyness and manipulativeness of Lee Meriweather's film version, but also ,with more of a sinister undertone than Meriweather's version.

Joker : Benicio Del Toro
Nuff Said.
He could play a variety of different Joker's including Romeo's .

Riddler : Alan Cuming
While he could also make a good young Oswald Copplebot, I could also see him pulling off Frank Gorshin's delivery and mania as The Riddler.

Penguin : Dustin Hoffman
While he may not be a number 1 choice for the Penguin, for Meredith's 1966 version, he fits like a glove.

Alfred Pennyworth : John Neville
