Well, Morris in the books (and the Coppola film) is basically a cowboy in a British setting; think if you put Indiana Jones into a Dracula film (hmm, that would be an interesting concept for a late-70s version with Harrison Ford as Quincy). I could go with Olyphant.

I saw somewhere that he was actually considered for the part, though I forgot if it was for Batman 1989 or for Batman Forever.

But , he was under consideration at some point.
