This is an interesting thread, with interesting suggestions!

Something to consider; my oldest sister hates comics and cartoons, she'd never even heard of the X-Men before it came out in theaters. I was astonished to hear her say she really enjoyed the movie. She loved how the cast of characters looked normal and not Hollywood glamorous, it was more believable to her and a nice break away from the usual Eye-Candy stuff Hollyood markets from.

Anyhoo,

who would make a good Madeleyne Pryor? Closest I've got to is Julianne Moore, but I don't know...doesn't seem like the *perfect* casting.
I wouldn't use Famke and go with the cloning story, I think it'd be much more interesting to do something entirely different! I'm not anti-comics, but something fresh in the movieverse storyline would be appreciated, (at least by me).

I would honestly say, if they were do to X-Men 4 and I don't think they will, the villians would have to be Apocalypse and Mr. Sinister.

Have Cyclops totally evil (from Mr. Sinister saving his life)

bring in Remy, Logan, Piotr, Hank, Kitty, Bobby, Jubilee, Angel (not archangel), Bishop, and Emma Frost.

I'd say keep all the past actors and have them reprieve their roles (Paquin, Ashmore, Page, Cudmore, Foster, Marsden, Grammar, Berry, Stewart, & Williams). Bring back Wong as Jubilee and Kain as Siryn.

As for villains, in my story for X4 I'm writing personally, I have the Hellfire Club working w/ Trask, so bring back Duke as Trask. As for the Hellfire Club Members:

Emma Frost - Sienna Miller

This was a hard choice cause there are so many girls out there that could play her, and play her well. I tried not to go w/ someone too big like the obvious Naomi Watts or Charlize Theron. I think Sienna is a good choice!

Pretty good choices except for Holloway and Ventimiglia. Holloway is just a bad choice; Not that great an actor and he looks to much like Kevin Federline. I like Milo and all but if he should play anyone in the Hellfire Club it should be Shinobi Shaw. He's too young for Mastermind.

That was one of my problems. I was struggling w/ whether or not to have a young Hellfire Club or an older Hellfire Club, so I just went with a mix of both. Actually, not really a mix since Milo is the only younger one.

If I had to replace him w/ an older actor, it would probably be his fellow Heroes co-star Adrian Pasdar:

If Sinister ever shows in movies, I think William Fichtner would be very interesting. I think he would just bring the character to life.

emma - probably charlize theron. there's probably some other actress out there that's not blonde but perfect, so it's hard to visualize.

gambit - olivier martinez. josh halloway annoys the hell out of me and he is too bulky. gambit has more of a gymnast type body. if they want to go young, i'd say use a newcomer.

storm - i dont want a recast at all, but GOD... Iman was on tv the other day and she has not aged a day in the last ten years. she would not have been too old to play storm. i dunno if she can act though (although storm in x1 did not require any acting).

jubilee - china chow. she's hot and was actually pretty good in that marky mark movie.

psylocke - tia carrere... just because i feel bad that she doesnt get work. haha. someone give her a chance!

sinister - gerard butler. he's british, right? that guy's is built like a brick****house. anyone seen the pics from '300'?

apocalypse - i think he should be played by someone of middle eastern descent. he's supposed to be a former egyptian pharaoh. sadly, i dont know of many middle eastern actors.

Charlize-I like her, I just think there are better actresses for the role.

Oliviere-Much better choice for Gambit instead of Holloway(I hate him too) if they go with the older Gambit but if it's younger, I want Somerhalder or Leto.

Iman-The perfect choice since forever.

China-She's okay but I don't like her for Jubilee.

Tia-I like her too but not for Psylocke. Maybe Sage.

Gerard-Interesting choice. I wouldn' mind him.

I personally don't want Sinister and his cloning crap or Apocalypse and that four Horseman tripe in the X-series. It just seems too far out there for what has already been established the first three movies. It would make the series too Science Fictioney for my tastes.

And Melissa George is Emma. She was basically the "Emma Frost" of ALIAS.

I like Olivier Martinez for Gambit more than Josh Holloway, I hadn't thought of him.

Charlize Theron is the perfect casting for Emma Frost.

I wouldnt re-cast any of the previous actors, they all did a great job in X1-X3.

Agreed. I never really liked the chracter of Rogue but Theron would make be great in it. Good choice.
