Casting Green Arrow

If there is a movie about Green Arrow, who would cast as Ollie?

My choice is Ryan Reynolds, he'd have to go a little blonder but otherwise I think he is the perfect Oliver Queen...

That's actually a brilliant choice. (Even though he's been suggested for every single comic role anyway)

I was actually just thinking yesterday how instead of going for someone "obvious" like Brolin or whatever, they pull a Chris Nolan and get someone totally unexpected rather than going by the books and getting someone who is pretty much like the character anyway. That way you'll end up with a much more memorable performance because it was unlike anything they've ever done before.

Also I was thinking that they should get someone who, like Ewan Mcgreggor in Star Wars, and Ben Foster in 3:10 to Yuma is a fairly young looking and weak guy, but when you stick a beard on them they age by like 15 years and turn into total badasses:

Ryan Reynolds is absolutely in a similar vein


EDIT: Ryan Gosling is another guy like that; Very wimpy, but give him a big enough beard, and he's golden:

i'm not too familar with Green Arrow: How can Olivier Queen get away with a such a unique goatee, without being noticed as 'Arrow'?

Reynolds is still better suited for Flash IMO...Not only does he want to play the character, but also knows a lot about the Flash history.

II would rather have Reynolds play Deadpool, there are other really good choices for flash and Green Arrow, I like the idea of Ryan Gosling as Green Arrow or the Flash.
