ok, so we know most of the New Warriors are dead( is Speedball?, his power should save him right?)

but who else is going to die?
theories, rumors, facts, please post them here, i wanna hear them.
My guess is that Spider-man is safe, since he's already died in the past year or so.

Speedball's power should prevent any explosion from hurting him, but unfortunately his power can't protect against Joe Q's personal vendetta against him. :p

I'm guessing Thor will be safe, given that he's supposed to return in Civil War. It seems very lame to resurrect him and kill him off in the same series. But then, it is by Millar, so I wouldn't be surprised if that happened.

Quesada hates Speedball. He's a goner.

It's time for Ultimate Speedball then?

Can't wait to see Thor and Mjolnir.
Could Hawkeye return as well? i miss him alot.

That could be a red herring.

Well, outside of the New New Warriors, apparently there won't be many deaths. Millar says he wants to keep the deaths meaningful because he realizes that everyone is someone's favorite character.

That is awesome. I'd probably go berserk if someone killed Chase.
He's a teen hero, though, so he's fodder.

I went beserk when Genis was killed off in Thunderbolts, I knocked over a comic book rack and cried like a little girl. :(

We'll probably see a few deaths
Rumored deaths of one or two of Fantastic Four
, but I like the idea that character death won't be done too carelessly and that the deaths will be given the attention and ramifications that seems deserving.

They'll come back. They're the one team I never worry about. Inevitably, the team will eventually reset to Reed, Sue, Johnny, and Ben. Everyone knows they're the team that works best because they're the actual family.

Speedball isn't going to die. Joey Q just used the sure-fire shock-tactic that always work when killing a character. All the Speedball fans having been coming out of the woodwork, and they'll be easy pickings for a new book centering around him or something likewise. It's the resurrection without the death.

I just thought of something. Bishop isn't confirmed for any of the X-teams in the near future. I wonder if he's going to kick the bucket?

He might leave the X-Men all together, since apparently him and Scott are on opposite ends on the issue. Maybe he'll join SHIELD.

Also, the July solicits have claimed there is one surviving member of the NW, and that this hero is the most despised person in America. It goes on to say that they have a decision to make about making a deal, or taking a stand, so they will probably have a big role in the Civil War. My bet is that with his powers, Speedball will be the remaining hero.

I could really see that happening. Only in comics could a black man end up workin for "the man" :o

God, I'd love that. Established mutants should really be more spread out.

Well, whatever happens to Bishop, if he doesn't die I hope they give him at least a mini and hopefully an ongoing series. Well, there was District X but that didn't last.

well in the latest july solicits it says that the only surviving member of the new warriors is in prison and despised for the public for his or her role in the explosion. im betting its speedball since his powers should protect him from the explosion, and it would give quesada a way to hate on him without killing him off.

I don't know why though, it was an awesome series. It showed X-genes in a new light. It's not all eye beams and ice powers. Some people's mutations really, really, really suck.

Yeah, District X was an interesting series. X-Factor is sort of a continuation of that but not so much because of all the depowered mutants.

I couldn't care less with what the X-Men have to do with CW.I can't wait to see Marvel's more under-used heroes break free from the chains of limbo and kick some superhero ass.

maybe bishop will go back to his own time era

^He did kinda serve his purpose huh? But then Cable'll have to go too.
