Cave monster killed in Panama!

Those were pictures I did not need to see :up:.
 
Found these pics off our local newspaper's website. Looks like a sloth's feet to me. No doubt in my mind this was a sloth. Either it had a disease that made it hairless, or it was already dead when they found it. It looks a little bloated to me, so I'm guessing it was already dead (drowned).

What the heck?

These are different from the first pictures at least when it comes to the stage of decomposition. I mean its rotting and some bones are now being exposed and its head's skull is already showing.

Really? Its just been lying there since this was reported on. Panama doesn't have some animal research facility.

It's definitely a sloth now, or some unknown hairless relative of it.


Well, it can't be hairless since ALL mammals have hair (even whales), so it'd have very tiny hair.
