CGI or Bodysuit

What are u hoping for when the time comes a CGI silver surfer, a body suit, or somewhere in between im personally hoping for something along the lines of wat the did with colossus in the start of x2...wat do u think?

I'm hoping they have the good sense to have Doug Jones in a silver suit doing all of the work (with the exception of special sceens) and with some CGI tweeking in post just to, excuse the pun, polish him up.

That's of course if they ever get around to actually announcing that Doug is doing the role. I'm getting ready to use some movie executive's leg as a scratching post if they don't make an announcement soon.

I think they have allready said it will be a combo of both live action and CGI, like The Human Torch.

I voted somewhere in between, so hopefully we'll have an actor (Doug Jones preferably) in a silver body suit, with the occasional CGI tweak.

I would have to go with both. Just CGI might not cut it. BUT chrome is one of the First cgi effects too so maybe Surfer wouldn't look so bad With Jones doing the body work for the CGI.

Whatever they are doing I am just hoping SS won't look fake. It's not a character grounded in reality afterall it's an alien with outrageous powers that cannot be explained like F4 have in the first movie. The most important thing is to make SS realistic looking and everything else will fall into place.

Doug's ongoing projects over the next 18 months don't use any mo-cap, ref-cap or green screen leotard.
