Any ideas? Gonna be a tough challenge & 3 days, but should be some fun as well.

I'm thinking if the one thread we'll make will be in Misc movies or community?

Here's what I have so far. In terms of getting word out on the hype and where to target our efforts and what not.

Ad Campaign:
1. We need someone to make awesome avys for posters to post with.

2. I'm thinking of us PM'ing posters in the Mad Men thread in the tv shows forum because Jon Hamm is on that show & he's in our movie. Sane with Chris Pine. Message Star Trek 2 forum posters cause Pine plays Kirk and he's in our film.

3. The one thread we can make should be in Misc Movies Forum for two reasons. Get posters from there to vote with Community & Star Trek & Mad Men posters/fans in the Poll. And it's a movie...movie threads go to that forum.

Tag line: This fall, crime is going down.

This challenge will take place over the course of 3 days. This challenge will force you to get the hype aware of your tribe's film that you made last challenge.

Here is the 3 day breakdown:

Day 1 - Preparation

Teams will brainstorm on a campaign to sell their film to the hype and start making whatever materials they need in order to sell it.

Day 2 - Start selling your movie.

To sell your movie, you may make 1 thread for your film (your thread title must say [Survivor] in it...so mods know not to shut it down). You may also make avys for people, message people, etc. Do your worst!

Day 3 - Box Office

On the 3rd day of the challenge, I will make a Box Office thread. In this thread, I will have a public poll. In this poll, your task is to get people to vote for your film. This thread will be open for exactly 24 hours

Here is how scoring will work:

Poll selection of your film - 10pts each

Posts in thread supporting your film - 5pts each (they must say "1 for ________, please"

People with avy of your film (please PM me to confirm the avy) - 5pts each

Hosts support of film - 15pts each

To me, we have an advantage in that our movie could actually be a movie. So if we can create a matching set of avatars, and maybe re-work the poster, we'll have the visual elements in place. Another possibility is cutting together a little teaser trailer.

Our main focus should be selling the fact that our movie is something people would actually want to watch.

Materials:
* Avatars
* New Poster
* Teaser (Optional)

Marketing Campaigns:
* Movie Thread
* PM Campaign
* Viral Campaign (Optional)

We can divide these responsibilities up evenly. I plan on writing a longer synopsis for the movie tomorrow.

Definitely PM me any story ideas you have. Just wanna whip up one good synopsis to sell the film.

I frickin' LOVE that poster. Tagline is absolutely perfect. That thing will sell itself.

If at all possible, try to give the avatars a similar look or color scheme.

Love the ideas going around guys, how about we get someone to make a gif for us with the tag line and then the title of the movie? I'm sure there's someone skilled enough to do it.
