At my school, I can't get my video games online because of Cisco Clean Access Agent. My school won't let students register their console's MAC address.

I looked online and found that you can change your computer's MAC address to match your consoles to get it online (I believe it was called MAC Spoofing).

Anyway, I'm just wondering if this is a good idea.

Thanks for your help.

Is this in a dorm? If so just use a router, hook up the laptop and most routers have an option to use an existing MAC for the ISP's DNS. So it looks like the laptop is connected to the network and not your router.
Doing this is different per router however and you'd have to check the manual but it's very easy with their web based configurations :)
