Chapter 18 - "Like Any Parasite" - Clip(s) & Discussion

Ya it happened for about a second, he walks in front of the camera while they're coming down the escalator. Happens i think around the 8:30 mark in part 3 if anyone wants to check it out.

She was alone in homecoming looking at sylar down the corridor till peter ran up behind her and told herto come with him.

Next :p

If that was the case then the shadow of Peter (that you could see right behind Claire) would have shown up in his paintings.

I'll take a peek later when I have more time. I wouldn't doubt it though. We've had plenty of other cameos so far this season. :)

Welcome to the Hype, BTW. :D

Yup....[BLACKOUT]Mohinder falls to the ground, may or may not be dead,Pete throws Sylar with his TK,Nathan is in the White House with Claire(I think) and Micah meets Linderman.[/BLACKOUT]

Man this show is addicting. I loved how "Quesada" got killed. Yay.

Isaac's there?

and NO there was blood
MO was pinned

Just because there is blood it doesn't mean anything. He was bleeding from the mouth. And Yeah I made a mistake and No he wasn't pinned take a look at this picture.

mohinderqu3.jpg

There is nothing holding Mohinder up except telekinesis. The thing that appears to be impaled in Mohinder's stomach is just an illusion; it's actually his shirt.

So that means he is not dead. Not Yet Anyway besides I don't think Sylar would kill him without him obtaining the list.

Plus Mohinder can't Die he's to important to the story trying to find the other heroes. He is also the Narrator of the Story at times.

Looks like Candace is going to be the Mastermind of the show.

Holy crap, good observation,I thought he was impaled too.

someone mentioned Nathan in the white house...

from Linderman's casino archives (the same screen that Hiro accessed last night):

"The President Stands Alone" - Isaac Mendez - oil on canvas, 2007

Peter wasn't in Odessa in Future Hiro's timeline.

Actually not all of isaac's paintings have been literal. Hiro fighting a fire breathing dragon becomes hiro in a museum standing in front of a skeleton. Not to mention all the pictures of uluru (sp?).

It is possible that the shadow simply REPRESENTS the danger to her.

What is weird though is that isaac's paintings seem to be getting closer and closer to real time as the series goes on. To me this would suggest that he's coming closer to his death. Which could mean isaac's going to be killed by sylar in the next episode...:csad:

Issac never painted a fire breahting dragon. he painted hiro standing in front of a dinosaur. isaac has been pretty damned literal; it's people's interpretations that have proven faulty.

and isaac did paint a number of paintings last night of himself with his head opened.

The question really is if it's possible to change what appears in the paintings. The one of Claire in the stadium is kind of iffy. Since the shadow in the painting could represent Peter running out to save her or whether it is supposed to be Sylar.

In the painting it's pretty menacing which to me would indicate Sylar which means the painting didn't come true because Peter wasn't in it, but it all depends on how it's interpreted.

Um... no... the shadow was there. All of his paintings have been quite literal, all the scenes he has painted have come true... they have not usually been what we thought they were, but they were real, true an quite literal.

The only thing not coming to pass yet is Uluru, and that doesn't mean it isn't literal, only that it hasn't happened yet... the museum dinosaur was something totally different.

And since Isaac's paintings always literally come true, then it's pretty clear that he's going to die... and how!

Peter's dreams, on the contrary, are extremely illeteral. In his dream simone dies because of him as he explodes, in real life, Simone dies because of him exploding emotionally. No one else dies in the dream explosion... to say nothing of the uniforms being worn...

Isaac's PAINTINGS come true, not interpretations of the painting. Claire stood there, a shadow fell on her, regardless of whom it belonged to or who thought what the PAINTING came true, and we saw exactly what was in the painting...

Is it just me or was Sawyer from lost in the airport with claire and the haitin? I remember reading an article to were lost and heroes could be connected. Screenshot later.
Haha, that's what I was thinking too. The guy at the bottom of the escalator. Yeah, my guess is it was done on purpose, but I doubt he was the actual actor, just someone who looked like Sawyer.

I haven't read through the entire thread, but why was Nikki/Jessica hired to kill Nathan if Linderman was gonna put him into the White House anyway?

maybe Linderman is testing them, just to see what happens

or maybe he's fully aware of how Isaac's paintings work and is just trying to see if the outcomes vary depending of modifications?

how knows now?!?!?! the show just keeps getting better and better

has anyone recieved info from the ARG?

forgive me for doing this, because your post is right on and i hate grammar police, but i think you mean Peter's dreams are "figurative".

Uluru could be figurative. Read the Chapter 8 comic on NBC.com... was he "seeing" the future of Uluru while high (not painted...), or was the Uluru vision just a representation of the blonde chick that screams at him and then gets killed?

What about the one he did paint? I very curious to see how they'll present this eventuality. It looks like the man is wearing glasses.

sorry but that uluru thing was probably in one the episodes a few months ago and i really don't remember anything about that. what exactly IS uluru??

I really liked Malcolm McDowell as Linderman last night.
And the fact that Mrs. Petrelli is working with the Haitian for Claire.
