I think it's kinda funny how people are *****ing about Watchmen parallels/ripoffs, whatever. Anyone who's seen any DBZ knows that Hiro is essentially, Trunks with a sidekick. Then again, by today's standards, Watchmen, is sacred, and DBZ is cool to make fun of, so, meh. I'm a fan of all 3; I could care less, honestly.
Everything, from New York being a focal point to, good characters gone bad, secret societies, run by "supers," having a main character with a double-consonant name; its all been done before. Hell, several different books are doing it right now, at the same time even, and have been for years! No need for anyone's panties to be in a bunch.
Back to topic though, after re-reading the latest graphic novel, I get the impression that, Dallas, Austin, and Loredo, are Papa Petrelli, Linderman, and Kaito Nakamura. If you read the little of Dallas' letter we can see, it mentions a son taking his first steps, making Nathan about 39. We already know that Linderman and the elder Petrelli were acquainted, probably became great friends once he saves his life after the ambush. In "Parasite," Linderman says that many have tried to kill him before; if he's got the ability to heal others as well as himself (not passive regen, like Claire.) it could explain what he meant. At the end of the comic, we don't know who else besides Austin and Dallas survived, since it was spoilered, but I'm assuming at least 2 of the other 3 made it, and formed "the company" posing as Texas-based Primatech, since all of their code names were Texan cities.
Linderman and Petrelli probably leave the company together, not liking what's happening in Primatech (perhaps it was started with one ideal, and went another way due to some group vote or something) Linderman has different, "morally grey" methods of achieving their shared utopic vision, after all, if he is Austin, he is a healer. We already know that he sees the explosion in NY as a necessary evil a greater good, or at least that what I've surmised from the little bit of info we've gotten for this ep. Petrelli, being involved in law, or maybe just doesn't like the path his friend is taking, can't stand it anymore, and is about to turn on Linderman, and possibly expose the company, Linderman has him killed, which brings us to the present. This is all speculation of course, but it'd be cool if some of it turned out to be true. April 23rd is gonna take forever...
