If people literally just did as they were shown, the world would be a dismal, dismal place full of no progression whatsoever.

What I think has no grounds on how the guy was writing it. Maybe if I had magical psycic powers and could force my thoughts onto Millar your argument would have relevance.
This is why arguments like"thats bad writing" exist. Which I already said it was.

That was my argument to begin with. I just didn't make it clear at first.
Do you honestly think I believe Hulkling can take Sentry or Spiderman can solo Reed Richards, Doc Sampson, and Radioactive man?
