Did anybody notice that Nolan took away the futuristic landscape of Chicago from the last film? It felt really odd seeing my city on film this time around.

Chicago did look great:cwink:

I noticed that too!!!
I recognized more and more of the locals (Lake and Wacker, etc) than the first film which was a bit of a distraction but that is only me since I've been a lifelong resident!

Yeah and it looked very clean also. Kind of like Toronto.

I thought it looked awesome. the entire film was filmed on streets I walk down everyday.

It was kind of distracting. I'm not from Chicago but I could clearly see "LaSalle" behind Dent when he's walking to and gets into the police car right after Gordon saves Batman and Dent.

Chicago looked beautiful in The Dark Knight (it always looks beautiful but especially on film!). There is of course the little slip-up where Joker's walking down the street firing the machine gun and in the background there's a bar called Sweet Home Chicago. :woot:

That's actually a chocolate store I believe. Not sure if it's still there even though I walk past there a lot.

Yeah that was cool. I seen it to. I herd Roger Ebert saying Heath Ledger was doing a Chicago accent while filming the Joker.

I didn't think we sounded like nuts:woot:

some of us sound exactly like that! i do, and I'm black!!
