Sir Michael Caine recently had the following to say about working on TDK: "I have just got back from my second trip to Chicago where I am shooting 'Batman,' my jet lag has gone so I feel like updating this site. I have one more stint in Chicago in a month time, then I will be finished on the 2nd “Batman” the great revelation of working on this is Heath Ledger who plays...'The Joker.' I have seen him on film and I have worked with him and I must say it is quite an extradinary performance." So hes "worked" with Heath...think he has a scene with him?

Thanks B...

its pretty cool news. i don't think he's really "worked" with heath..but i think he means that he's seen him on film and think he has an "extradinary performance". I'm glad to know that sir micheal caine thinks so :)

Probably the penthouse scene, or something along those lines.

Here's hoping Alfred hits Joker with a golfclub.

(Michael Caine hitting people with golfclubs should become a staple of this series, like Spider-Man's Bruce Campbell cameos:o)

I wholeheartedly agree. :woot:

I hope that he has no scenes w/ Joker because that implies that Joker learns of Batman's identity . . .

Not if hes trying to kill dent while Dent is at Wayne's party.

I thought there is a scene at some Harvey Dent party in which Rachel, Bruce, and maybe Alfred are at when the Joker crashes it? Maybe this is the scene in which he "worked with Heath"?

Just from reading his website, I have to say, Michael Caine is just awesome.

it would be MUCH better for joker to know Batmans identity!! It gives him more levrdge over Bruce AND Batman, which could lead to Joker killing rachel or dare I say, ALFRED!!!!

I think they will all crash together in the party scene, in which Joker is searching for Dent and Bruce escapes to his "emergency room", where he keeps his suit. There'll be Dent, Rachel, Bruce, Alfred and Joker.

Sir Micahel is one of the best ....EVAH!

Maybe the Joker beat up Alfred or even kidnap him with Magie from the party and Batman have to go after him as the climaxes of the mvoie and BAtman is so pissed that he wails on the Joker ala 'Hush' style only to be talked down by Jim Gordan.

we are hearing all this fantastic stuff about heath ledger whether it is bias or not but it makes me believe that like Batman 89, hes going to be the center of attention in the Batman movie again :(

Same here! Let's have a petition to put in a scene like that before they finish filming. :woot:

Michael Caine should go around hitting everyone, and then tell them he hopes they're not with the fire brigade. They so "no", and he hits them again.

Yeah, don't take too much stock in that sort of thing. Not that I am doubting, but Hugh Jackman said X3 was the best X-Men movie :whatever: and Al Pacino said Colin Farrell was the best actor of his generation.

I just think it's reassuring for us fans to see an actor of Michael Caine's stature praising Heath Ledger's work.

All the reports and scoops I have read so far don't even mention Christian Bale, who I regard as an excellent actor. He even made "Harsh Times" a bearable film. Look's like Heath is stealing the show on this one.

Although that's a good point, SolidsnakeMGS has a good one too.

It sure looks like it. All we hear about is how good Heath is and how awesome this Joker is going to be. But then again we already know Bale is going to do a good job as Batman, there's really no need to mention it at this point.

actors do this all the time. it is normal.

Exactly. Wasn't his point though that you shouldn't just jump into agreement with what Caine is saying about Ledger since he's obviously not going to bad mouth his performanece.
