The Dark Knight Michael Caine updates personal website

Refer to the Snow White and Seven Dwarves thread. People are correlating the Joker and his so-called "dwarves" (henchmen) to Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.

But are they actually dwarves?

That would be awesome. Very TKJ.

Sir Michael Caine is awesome in "The man who would be king".

Anybody seen "Blood and Wine" with Caine and Nicholson. That's a really good film with a great performance from Caine.

Some intresting facts

Jack Nicholson and Micheal Caine are the only two actors nominated for an Academy Award for acting (either lead or supporting) in every decade since the 1960's.

They both stared together 1996 black comedy crime drama Blood and Wine (which I haven't seen in years but is a pretty good movie).

Was good friends with Terence Stamp (Supermans Zod). They shared a flat in the 60s. Is also good friends with Quincy Jones.

Was in 1978 movie Calfornia suite with probabley oddest cast ever. The cast included Jane Fonda, Bill Cosby, Water Matthau, Richard Pryor and Maggie Smith.

In Austin Powers GoldMember Mike Myers has said that his glasses in all three films are meant to look like those worn by Michael Caine in The Ipcress File (1965), so Caine took the original glasses (model "Teviot 74" by UK Optical) to the set and wore them as Nigel.

Don't forget that Caine did a movie with Keaton not too long ago that is now on DVD. I don't know if it was ever released in theater first. It cool to see the former Batman work with the current Alfred. ;)

And I believe Keaton made a small app. in Clooney's "Out of Sight". Crazy, huh? :D :D

Exactly. Wasn't his point though that you shouldn't just jump into agreement with what Caine is saying about Ledger since he's obviously not going to bad mouth his performanece.

There's a difference between an interviewer asking someone about a co-star and him brushing it off, "oh yeah, he's a good actor, blah blah blah", to Michael Caine outright bringing up the fact that Ledger is amazing in this film every chance he gets. Caine is very obviously not just praising Heath just out of courtesy. He obviously really, really likes the job he's doing.

^Orrrrrr he's probably made REALLY GOOD FRIENDS WITH HIM if you know what I mean.
