Just saw this film, it is a beautiful, incredlbe work of art. The setting at first reminded me a bit of V for Vendetta (near future, most of the world in the toilet, Britian the last remaining great civilization, immigrants treated like animals). We learn that humans have become sterile, the last child was born 18 years ago. Humanity is dead. Of course that wouldn't make for much of a movie, a pregnant woman is found and a man must now make sure she safely reaches a group that has vowed to reestablish human fertility. What we get is a film that is not only meaningful, but so incredibly shot that you will truly feel one with the action. I found myself actually wanting to tell the camera man to head for cover. Every character is meaningful, every character is deep. Michael Caine plays a burnt out hippie. This movie is incredible.

If you are a fan of A Brave New World, 1984, V for Vendetta - this dystopia film is one you can not miss.

Yea - need to merge that. It was not on the first page when I posted this.
