What stories did you read as a youngin'?

Here's a few I remember:

There also a book of scary stories, and one was about this girl who would always wear a red scarf. Then she grew up and married some boy, and on her deathbed she asked him to take the scarf off, and her head came off.

Also crap like Heidi, and Charlotte's Web, that were read to us in school. Now you go.

I remember taking this book out at the library. Still a good read to this day.
