Chloe comming to DC Comics in 2008

Well Kurt Busiek (writer on Superman comic) says they are looking to bring Chloe into the comics in 2008.

We have plans for Chloe, tentatively scheduled for 2008 -- but we're still waiting on approvals from the appropriate executive types.

Both Action and Superman and Confidential and maybe All-Star. Though I would start her out in Confidential then more her over to the big books.

The fact that Hulk said they have been saying this for 5 years & that they have been waiting approval for the last 5 years means they are probably waiting to see what they do with Chloe on the show first.

I mean, Harly Quin was ok, because she server a pretty good purpose and had a good role. So far as we know, Chole has only been hanging with Clark during the highschool/college days. What are they gonna do, go "WOW HI CHOLE YOUVE NEVER BEEN MENTIONED WHATSOEVER IN THE COMIC MYTHOS AND YOUVE NEVER BEEN SEEN, BUT YOU ARE ONE OF THE FIRST PEOPLE I TRUSTED WITH MY SECRECT!" or whatever wya they try and do it.

Now, if they throw her in there as say, a new reporter for the Planet who has no relation whatsoever to Clark, then I'd be OK with it.

If they did put Chloe into the comics Confidential would be the place to do it where there they are redoing the history of Post-Crisis Superman.

Watch, they will have Lois finally admit that she was a blonde originally, and that before her and Clark met in Metropolis...her name was Chloe.

Then Clark will be like, "You were the girl I turned down in highschool!?!"

I think they could introduce her as a character similar to the Chloe on Smallville but make up an excuse why she wasn't around or mentioned this whole time.
Maybe she and Clark had a falling out. Maybe she confronted him about being in love with him and gave him an ultimatum that he rejected and so she left. And its been a sore spot for Clark.

Or maybe, like they did with Pete, she left because being friends with him was too painful and dangerous.

Maybe she was killed, Clark watched her die because of him, and that is why he has never mentioned it. And now she comes back alive and well.

They can always make up some lame excuse.

Or perhaps she will be named Chole, and a high school friend who may have known his secret, but that was it. And she isn't really like Chloe on the show.

Thats what makes me mad about the death of Superboy when his comic was suppose to relaunch Chloe was suppose to be there to be like his Lois/Lana and cause a problem between him and Cassie.

No kidding. I didn't think they could make me dislike her more than I did pre-IC, but the issues are nothing but her complaining


The series needs a creative change or needs to end.
