Chris Benoit Dead

Heres the real burning question. Will you continue to have him as your avatar pic when he is proven to have killed his family? Or will you continue to say you are just showing him respect as a wrestler? I don't care who the guy was or what he did, you kill your own kid and wife, and then kill yourself leaving your other kids without any parents, you are a goddamned coward and deserve no respect at all for anything.

I don't know. Will it be proven? No one knows. If it's proven that he did kill his wife and kill his kid then most likely I will not view him in the same light, however that's IF he did it.

It sounds like most of you are jumping to conclusions without any real facts to back it up. I told many people that we may never know what happened, and do we really want to know the graphic details? All I'm saying is wait for the report to show what happened.

If it's revealed that he didn't do it what will you do? Will you apologize for the accusations? Will everyone who called him a monster admit they're wrong? Or will they pull a Nancy Grace and disappear?

well you can understand why. the guy was not a sociopath. he doesnt have any other bodies buried in his backyard. I don't know of any reports of him involving physical abuse outside of his profession.

please, you really think those tables and chairs are real? and that there not prepped how to fall to make things hurt less and more safe? i've taken a stunt acting class even, you can easily make things look like they hurt 10times more then they would (though again, i wont say what they do doesnt hurt them, but not nearly as much as it looks, (unless something goes wrong))

:whatever:

You do realize that regardless of what you say "is fake" that falling from such a height is a great risk, right? You do realize that even if the table broke his fall it still hurt like a *****.

The cage incident where Mick fell through wasn't planned at all. But due to the Undertaker's weight and Mick's weight the cage gave away, along with the chair landing on Mick's face creating a massive gash under his lip.

Yeah, because it was so obvious from the initial details that he killed them. Right? You need to believe a little less in magic and a little more in logic- no one could look in a crystal ball and forsee this beforehand. This was the natural reaction. Way to look like a jerk.

To me it was. This **** happens. As soon as I read the details that he was found dead with his wife and kid, it screamed foul play.

If he did it (sadly seems to be the case...so far), then I'll be mixed. He was a great wrestler and I am a fan of his...but then again it seems like he lost it and did the unthinkable.

The strongest evidence is that he was home from Saturday up until his death...it will be interesting to see what the murder instruments are. As the time goes bye, it's sinking in he did it imo. It's not 100% official, just pointing that way so far.

Yet, you never did think that his wife could've done it right? A friend of mine just sent me an IM saying that another theory is Nancy killed Daniel, then Chris killed her, and then killed himself.

Theories are running wild at the moment. None of them are 100% at all.

so what if it is?

ok then, shall i just lump you in the same group of OJ supporters? and people who support paris hilton? because it's not much diff.. all actors (if you say oj was one, he deserves an oscar for getting away with what he did) who did wrong, why support them?

The man was thrown, 15 feet down, through the chain link cage (which was not supposed to break) onto thumb tacks, bit a hole through his bottom lip big enough to fit his tounge through, and you're saying it's not real? People like you are why wrestling fans always seem full of hate towards non-wrestling fans, because you're just so incredibly ignorant. I dont want to pull a David Arquett in that s**ty wrestling movie he was in, but when you have a guy like Kurt Angle saying that pro-wrestling is every bit as grueling and requires every bit as much athletecism as amateur/olympic mat wrestling does, you need to give it it's f**king props.

Apples and oranges. It's not proven that Benoit did what he's being accused of.

And who supports OJ? Last I checked people are pretty disgusted with him, but they recognize his accomplishments as a once great professional football player who deserves to be recognized as such. But as a person? Who knows.

What did OJ do to get away with something?

What I'm saying is he thought the same thing you did and came to the realization that there's more to professional wrestling than what you claim.

Everyone knows it's scripted. Everyone knows the outcomes are already decided before the match started. However it takes skill to be able to flip, take a fall, take a steel chair shot without being killed or give one without killing someone, wrestling for 30, 40, and sometimes even 60 minutes one night.

Then doing it all over again the next night, the night after, and so forth.

In my opinion these guys deserve respect for what they do as they actually risk their bodies to entertain fans.

im not saying it doesn't take a skill, i respect that. But what i don't respect are those who make it seem like it's not scripted, like they actually believe whats happening and actually get into it. It's nothing more then a glorified male soap opera... it really isn't and i respect them for putting on a good show, not for "earning titles" or "winning matches" cuz they don't earn that stuff

*cackles*

these raving wrestling fan cracks me up.

This is why I love SHH.

So by your logic we shouldn't get into movies or respect actors, actresses, or stunt men? Seeing as it's all part of the show and that actors and actresses shouldn't win oscars because the film is nothing more than a fiction. :whatever:

Everytime a wrestler dies, some of us fans always get suckered into the real vs fake argument. Let it go guys. We did the same **** when Eddie died

but they do earn those things, by putting on good matches. It's a fact that when you hold the belt, you get a bonus in your pay. Same thing if you headline ppvs. You get to hold a belt and headline a ppv by putting on good matches, or getting "over" with the crowd in other ways.

um...you were talking about wrestling being fake in that post.

You don't need to lump me anywhere, unless you want to be ignorant.

There's not much to support. He's dead. Whether he did it or not, he's no longer subject to the law. He was a fine wrestler, apparently a nice and hardworking guy according to fans and his coworkers. He may or may not be a killer.

Here come the vultures...

good acting and money to buy excellent lawyers... same "talent" paris hilton used to get a night out of jail... only she didn't get away with it.
Paris is being released later today and what are you talking about? OJ never did anything.
