On a tangent, it's funny how people are doubtful that Heaven exists yet are certain Hell exists for people like Hilter to live in.

I don't believe in either.

What he did is nowhere near Hitler. I hate what he did, but 9 million is far worse.
It might not be, but in Hell, everyone is equal in their suffering.

I never doubted Heaven, seeing as I am Christian, so your point is invalid.

Fact is, I don't care how f***ed up you are in the head, he STRANGLED his wife and SMOTHERED his son...it's not even like he put them out of their misery quickly. He killed them slowly.

So I really don't care why he did it, I just want him to say "Hi" to Hitler for me.

Being ****ed in the head is not something you can ignore. While mental illness is something that is easily faked and taken advantage of, it's totally possible that he didn't even know what he was doing at the time. I'm not making excuses for this, I'm just saying it's easy to sit there and judge people.

Wow, what a strange and tragic story. Too bad all intelligent dialogue in this thread has ceased.

Not according to Daunte's Inferno (not quite a holy book, I know).

I am weird. I believe there is an afterlife, but I don't believe in the Bible.

Very true. I studied a lot of this in psychology. Like I said, I am curious to see what happend, but I can't honor the man for this.

And we live in a world where it's relatively easy to receive treatment for mental illnesses. It's his own damn fault for not looking for help.

He killed his family over the weekend, and himself Monday. I'm so taken back at what he did after he murdered them. What went trough his mind days before he murdered them.

It's never that easy. Not saying he isn't to blame, but to say if he had a mental illness is equal to him being rational I don't think is right either. Either way, this was wrong, though.

why don't we write a book?.....but you'd have to do the writing, cause I can't....hehe:oldrazz:

It's not easy, at all. It's usually a long, strenuous struggle and some people never fully recover. I suggest you read up on mental illness before making such uninformed statements.

We will probably never really know but something in the text messages he sent, sent a warning flag to someone, so that is why I would like to know what he wrote.

Um...that's why we have institutions where you can get away from society. Did he ever try that? Apparently not. Apparently, he just wanted to sit in his living room and strange his wife.

I'd say we might just find out what it said in time.

The fact is most people with mental illnesses don't know they have them (vast majority), and their family would have to make the diagnosis.

It isn't as easy as you think.

You know most people that have a problem, don't even know they have one. And there's this thing called denial as well. Again, please get informed.

Obviously, if he was texting his friends and if he waited until Monday to kill himself, he might have a clue that he has a problem.

Again, no. That isn't a warning flag to most who have them. I know about this stuff, I have studied psychology. It isn't as easy as you are painting it. Not nearly as easy.
