Chris Benoit Dead

People will still deny it even when/if its proven that Benoit did it. There is always going to be an "X" factor for those people.

This is what I am talking about. Who looks at anyone who has a family and thinks to themselves "Hmmm he may just end up murdering them all." No one does. It never makes sense to kill your own child. There is no "reasoning" behind it.

Well I have seen families treat each other horribly before. It's true we never know what goes on behind a persons closed doors, however, sometimes you look at that person and you don't see them doing the unthinkable.

My best friend, Kathy Naizer, was murdered by her father but I knew her relationship with him wasn't too great as she never, ever talked about him or her family at all. But when I found out he killed her it still didn't make the pain go away.

I just don't see Benoit waiting seven years to kill his wife, his son, and then doing himself in. But stranger things have happened and it's true we didn't know the man personally.

First the pregnant Ohio woman was found, and now this. This week has been the utter SUCK as far as shocking news is concerned.

I just hope the media doesn't ****e this out like the Paris Hilton or Anna Nicole Smith situations.

And Hilton's coming out early. It's getting better and better as the days pass by.

If he did the unthinkable does it take away from his talent? There's no denial going on. People are just waiting for the facts and don't want to believe he would kill his wife, his son, and then himself.

YES!! IF Benoit is proven to have done it, I will no longer think of him as Benoit the wrestler, he is Benoit the monster. I don't care what he did for a living, he killed his own family. Thats like saying Ted Bundy was a good clown and entertained lots of people. Screw what he did for a living, the guys a monster. Benoit is no different if its proven he killed his family.

I think the media should leave it alone until there is hard evidence.

Investigation doesn't mean much. Once a judgement is made, then I will see what they say.

Innocent until proven guilty.

Investigation is not enough proof.

Ted Bundy wasnt a clown, you're thinking of John Wayne Gacy...Ted Bundy had some boring ass regular job.

I hate the fact that you're trolling and showing complete disrespect to Benoit and his family. Even if what you say is true, the least you could do is show respect and realize that he has family members who are suffering, friends who are suffering, and fans who are grieving.

How the hell is it disrespect if it's true? Even if it's not it was a possibility and everyone has a right to their opinion. Saying others are in denial is a bit much but you're taking this thing a bit too far.

And Andrea Yates drowned her children. Is she monster or just seriously ****ed up in the head?

And Ted Bundy was a crisis counselor not a clown.

ask O.J..

And if you ask me, OJ deserves his spot in the Hall of Fame...off the field conduct has nothing to do with your carreer (especially once it is over).

I'm sure getting away with murder served as a nice consolation prize.

ask O.J..

Well, that's true. I used to think OJ was innocent, but I began and still believe that he didn't do it in a physical sense, but that he knows who killed Nicole and Ron.

But again, as I said, it's disrespectful with some of things that have been said regarding Benoit the wrestler. If it turns out that he did do the unthinkable then I'll admit that I was wrong, but I'm not going to deny his talent or ignore his accomplishments.

There are several people who were close to him and knew him personally. Eddie(RIP), Jericho, Malenko, Chavo, Bret Hart, Raven, Diamond Dallas Page, Edge, John Cena, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Rey Mysterio, Angle, and a host of others who knew this man personally. I believe if there was something odd or dangerous about him they would've noticed it.

I'm not going to disrespect the man's legacy as a wrestler. I'll wait until something 100% is proven, until then we all should do the same. Those who are calling him a murderer, a monster, and so forth will be eating some serious crow if it's proven he didn't do it.

Why is it so hard to believe people don't want to jump to conclusions? Maybe there's something sinister some o f you can gloat about years from now about how you were the first one to pick up on it with your Sherlock Holmes' intuition and amazing ability to discard the scientific method, but for the rest of us we're waiting until someone can definitively say "this is what happened." It won't change the tragic nature nor is it proving anyone to be naive. It's just not right to jump to conclusions and put the survivors through unneeded turmoil. Simple as that.

He is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame though...he has 2 bonuses. He deserves that spot, though. He was a great running back. One of the all time best.

I like you

I would wait with all the Benoit tribute avatar/signatures changes here on the hype guys...

This guy may turn out to be just another run of the mill pathetic selfish killer, nothing more.

If indeed this turns out to be a murder-suicide by Benoit, I don't care how many matches he won, how many titles he held, or fans he won over, he's just another killer. imo
