Christmas Movies

The one where the girl from Mrs. Doubtfire finds Santa in the from of Hammond from Jurassic Park.<<

That's the modern remake of Miracle on 34th Street.

Whatever that one is where Michael Keaton becomes a snowman.<

I think that one's called Jack Frost.

Thank ye. :yay: I remembered the first one after I posted that, at least.

Much like the dimwitted cop in The Ref, I don't think I have ever seen It's A Wonderful Life all the way through, from beginning to end. I know I've seen the very beginning, and EVERYONE has seen the classic ending. And I've seen snippets of scenes from the middle. But I don't think I have once just sat down and watched the entire thing through with no interruptions. Maybe I'll finally buy a copy this year on DVD and won't have to wait for it to come on TV anymore.

Same here. I'm making a conscious effort to watch some of the holiday classics that I've neglected over the years so this is on my list. With how busy I've been the last few years I haven't really been able to watch any holiday movies/TV episodes so I'm really excited to sit down and watch some of my favorites this year and hopefully I'll gain a few more.

Honestly I feel that A Wonderful Life is very overrated. The only good part was the last bit that we all know. The rest of the movie was boring to me.

Cool Running's is the one I wait for every year.

Yeah, I'm the most cynical and bitter man I know, and even I see the merit in IAWL.

My favorites used to be Home Alone 1 & 2, but since I've seen those movies SOOOO many times by now, I've grown sick of them.

My current top 3..

1. The Polar Express
2. Jingle All the Way
3. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

I also like A Christmas Carol starring Alastir Sims.

My Top 4

4. He Man and She Ra Christmas Special. Yes, I need some amusing awfulness to ignite my marathon.
3. Christmas Vacation
2. It's a Wonderful Life
1. Batman Returns

Batman Returns. I watched Christmas Vacation last year and really liked it. There's Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer (which is stupid, but cute) and How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the cartoon), but I'm not sure if that last one counts as a movie. I also watch a lot of Christmas-themed episodes of my favorite television series.

My favourites are

The Muppet Christmas Carol
Scrooged
Elf
Santa Claus The Movie

I watched Bad Santa for the first time the other day and though it's not on my list of favorite Christmas movies it is funny.

I'm starting a Twelve Days Of Christmas Movie Marathon. Who's with me?

Twelve Days Of Christmas Movie Marathon

Day One:

A Christmas Carol (1984 version starring George C Scott as Ebenezer Scrooge)

Rise Of The Guardians

WWE Ring In The Holidays (Technically not a movie, but Christmas themed so I'm including it).

Definitely A Christmas Story for me as well as Die Hard, Scrooged, A Christmas Carol the Jim Carrey motion capture CGI animated version and another underrated Christmas movie would be Michael Keaton's Jack Frost which is a cult classic in my opinion

Twelve Days Of Christmas Movie Marathon

Day Two

How The Grinch Stole Christmas (animated)
A Charlie Brown Christmas
Disney Animated Christmas Shorts (Donald Duck wrapping gifts, Chip & Dale stealing Donald's Christmas nuts & candies, Pluto The Rescue Dog, Mickey's Good Deed, etc)

On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Batman Returns
