Documentary/Biopic Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer

It's just Film Twitter desperately trying to slow its momentum because it collectively wants another movie to win (*cough* The Holdovers *cough*). Same thing happened with EEAAO last year.

There's no slowing this train.
What movie did they want to win over EEAAO last year? I thought Film Twitter would have been all about that one.

The train has reached the inevitable backlash stop, but yup, no stopping it now haha.

I'm too happy for Nolan to care.

I’ve also seen some tweets about it being a boys film, pejoratively. Whatever that’s supposed to mean.

I'm guessing they're assuming due to Nolan's controversial treatment of female characters that women don't enjoy his movies?

It's a stupid generalization either way, but I've actually read some reviews of Oppenheimer from women expressing this issue which is somewhat understandable.

Even if a Japanese release wasn’t a delicate matter… I assume — at this late date (post home video) — that the box office there won’t be substantial. I.e., not enough to push Oppenheimer past $1B world-wide.

Maybe not the best choice for a film still to go with that specific article, Variety?

So the entire NYC Lincoln Square IMAX run of Tenet is nearly sold out. I had an easier time getting seats for Dune.

If he didn't win that cosplay championship, I will lose faith in humanity.
