It’s times like these I kind of wish Nolan was what I dislike the most ; social media attention ****e lol

So then I’d get Nolan recording Spielberg off his phone watching Oppenheimer and then turning it back on himself reacting.

And some people still think he has no sense of humor. :funny:
As much as that accusation bothers me, the one that REALLY gets under my skin is when people say his movies arent emotional. Like, seriously? I get emotional every time I watch Interstellar. And I still choke up at the endings of both TDKR and Inception.

The most common complaint I see nowadays is that he can't write good female characters, which is somewhat true but I feel people hyperbolize that notion to an unnecessary level.

Finally got around to watching Oppenheimer. I enjoyed it quite a bit. I went into it having close to zero knowledge of Oppenheimer himself, nor the Manhattan Project (my high school history class failed me), so some of the non-chronological story telling had me confused. But the acting was superb. And I had to laugh when Hughie from The Boys showed up. It didn't quite crack my top 3 Nolan films, but definitely top 5.

Ironically, his Joker is still the funniest live action Joker.

Not even just with the Joker, the TDK trilogy is peppered with humor.

The playboy stuff with Bruce. The banter between Bruce and Alfred is gold. Lucius gets some funny moments with Bruce too, not to mention the whole scene with how he handles Reese's blackmail attempt.

Metacritic score randomly bumped up to 90.

Universal has Murphy everywhere. He has a 60 Minutes segment on Sunday as well. It's gonna be hella awkward if he loses the Oscar with this much press.

Giamatti's been doing plenty of press too but nothing could be as awkward as Anthony Hopkins winning Best Actor after everyone thought that it was going to go to Chadwick Boseman.
