Fantasy Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey

TDK will always be special because it set a new bar for the modern blockbuster that I think in some ways has remained the bar to this day. Even though it's his 6th film, it's kind of like Nolan's Jaws. There is just a very clear before and after with that film in terms of the trajectory of his career. And I think it will always be somewhat on a pedestal, because just how good it was genuinely blindsided people, whereas after that everything with his name on it has to carry that weight of huge expectations.
This is absolutely true. The film/comic book nerds like us were already familiar with his game but The Dark Knight was the one that made Nolan a household name and really put him on the map with general audiences.

Momento, Prestige, and Insomnia fans knew where it was at. :o

Nolan using animatronics confirmed? 👀

Sounds promising; but I'm still skeptical. Are we sure this is for Nolan's film?

If so, I hope it's not Cyclops. Just let RPattz be weird; he'd love that!
I'm not sure if this has been officially confirmed, but Charlie's Tale does seem to be the codename for Odyssey, so it could very well be for the movie. I don't think Boom would have shared that article if it was something completely unrelated and unsubstantiated, but we'll see.

I just assumed they'd use an actor for Cyclops and re-scale him in post.

Waiting to see if that's corroborated by other official sources since that's basically a fan account.

It's the same source as that Greek article I posted the other day. It looks legit.

Mhm, just saw that DiscussingFilm also shared it on their Twitter report, albeit claiming it as "reportedly". Still hoping it's true though.

In this godforsaken timeline we're currently living through, it's the things to look forward to like Nolan making a fantasy flick with (hopefully confirmed?) puppets that can help make it just a bit more bearable.

The Greek article is most likely legit; the issue is whether it has anything to do with Nolan's The Odysessy.

I mean, a production company is named in the article; can anyone connect that to Nolan, or Universal, etc.?

Nolan depicting the Trojan War is gonna be a freaking visual feast.
