Nah, after TDK, I honestly can't think of many memorable supporting characters in his movies despite them usually being played by terrific actors.

There's an art to massively elevating every character in the movie by casting them with an actor who could easily be the lead. Nolan is one of the masters of that.

Hathaway was definitely memorable in both movies she appeared in. And so was Chastain and obviously Hardy as Bane. There are numerous supporting characters that shine in Nolan films. Hell, Pattinson was undoubtedly the best part of Tenet, though to be fair everyone else was completely bland there.

Oppenheimer felt like a film where even a minor character with 2 lines was played by someone easily recognizable. For me it's really neither a positive or a negative. If it works for the film that's great. Whether you have a potential lead actor just doing a 3 minute cameo or some random character actor, if it's good it's good if it's bad it's bad.

That's a skill prime Soderberg and Spike Lee excelled at. Nolan has never been near that level to me.

Not totally on topic, but I was able to catch the Interstellar Imax rerelease last night. Holy cow, that thing held up beautifully. It's not like I haven't seen it a bunch over the years, but that sound, that SCORE...it all just hit different in that format. The visuals are obviously amazing, but I swear I could've sat there blindfolded for 3 hours and still had a great experience.

I remember getting into some debates with folks who were hating on it when it came out and saying that my money was on it holding up over time and becoming a classic. After seeing it in a packed theater on a Wednesday night 10 years later and having possibly my best experience with the film yet...yep. Confirmed lol.
