Fantasy Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey

Girl threw in the towel after getting an Oscar.

I was actually excited to see her in that Judy Garland biopic that never happened.
The one that Renee Zellweger ended up doing and winning an Oscar for?

I think it was a different movie. It was supposed to be produced by the Weinstein Company, but that didn't happen after the Harvey Weinstein allegations.

Different project. Hers was Get Happy and was going to be produced by the Weinstein Company with Dimension Films. It was delayed and then cancelled due to Harvey Weinstein being outed as a sexual predator.

Anne is playing Athena right?

We know that Nolan is a huge Ridley Scott fan, this news makes those strange comments from Nolan that Gladiator II was his favourite film of the year make a lot more sense. I guess Sir Christopher has swords and sandals on the brain.

What's wild is that there's already an adaptation of The Odyssey with Ralph Fiennes that came out this year.

I was going to say this must be a mistake because he threw out his Howard Hughes biopic after The Aviator came out. I guess he must be going a very, very different from Fiennes' version.
