Fantasy Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey

Prologue was dope and seeing Nolan's EPIC yet very gritty and grounded interpretation of the Trojan War is definitely going to be something memorable and very special on the bigscreen

He's definitely about to drop another banger on us and I'm all for it and hopefully I can see it on the biggest, loudest screen possible.

I was able to see it on Reddit this morning before the Mods took it down. Definitely feels like Lawrence of Arabia or Ben Hur, in terms of visuals.

So many extras. Goodness gracious.

I'm still not keen on the anachronistic costumes, but otherwise everything about this looks and feels great. The rip I saw didn't really give a good look at the Cyclops, but from what I can perceive he looks really scary.

As the leaks started flooded my timeline, first I clicked, then immediately closed it out saying I should wait until my Avatar screening next week. Then as more reactions poured in, I quickly caved, for I am weak. :melt:

Looked amazing though. Can't wait to see the Cyclops on the big screen, it was hard to tell exactly what I was looking at but it definitely looked 'unreal'. I already feel like Damon is gonna crush this.

I really love the tradition of the December prologue + trailer drop for a new Nolan film. Perhaps nothing will ever top the thrill of seeing Ledger's Joker for the first time along paired with the first ever narrative use of IMAX. But I really love that it's now 17 years later, he's still using the same exact marketing strategy, and it still works. I'm really excited for the trailer now. Nolan's "Trailer 1" tends to be pretty juicy in terms of giving a lot of money shots and establishing the tone.

I just watched a leaked version because of temptation, I'll be seeing it with Avatar anyway.

This looks incredible, I'd flip if this ends up being his best film. Certainly solidifies it as my most anticipated for 2026 and Goransson's score is breathtaking.

This is different from Oppenheimer. That one I was anticipating but all I was ever expecting from that was a really good biopic. This feels different. This feels like the most epic he's gotten, even moreso than TDK trilogy, Inception or Interstellar.
