CNN's Kyra Phillips Leaves Her Mic On.......oops!

Lucky she didn't use the bathroom. :ghost:

That's hilarious! Is she dating a married man...what's the whole "married and 3 kids" bit about?

APPARENTLY SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT A FAMILY MEMBER........COUSIN, IN-LAW, BROTHER. THE REPORTER WHO FIRST BROKE THE STORY, ON 'BOB AND TOM', MADE THE STATEMENT "SHE'S GONNA HAVE THE WORST THANKSGIVING EVER"......ALLUDING TO A VERY AWKWARD MEETING WITH HER FAMILY. :O

I couldn't hear her over the white guy in the suit.

LOL........YEAH, THAT WAS PRETTY ANNOYING. :D :p

Yeah. Good to know that engineers are woking hard to damage the system.

Listening to her this sounds like a good time to take a shot. Even if you're married. And have children.

I have no problem waiting in line. :(

Is it really her fault, though? I know that the show's engineers are blaming her for not turning her mic off when she went off camera, but I have some friends who work in television news who say that's B.S. because the engineers are the one's who usually control all that equipment from their soundboards. It'll be interesting to see if she gets the boot for this, or if the sound guys do.

I THINK IT'D BE JUSTIFIED IF SHE GOT CANNED, SIMPLY FOR KARMA'S SAKE. NOT ONLY IS SHE A WANNABE MEDIA BULLY.......AND WE HAVE FAR TOO MANY OF THOSE, IMO......BUT SHE OBVIOUSLY WASN'T FOCUSING ON THE "TASK AT HAND" LIKE SHE SHOULD'VE BEEN, AND WAS TALKING BEHIND THE BACKS OF FAMILY TO BOOT. BUT DON'T CRY FOR HER, IF SHE DOES GET THE BOOT.......I'M SURE 'FOX' WOULD LOVE TO HAVE HER. ;)

Anchors always leave their mic on. It's up to the audio person to turn it off, and up to the director/producer to tell them when to turn it on and off...(at least that's how it was at the tv station I used to work at...)
