No sense in reading into any actor's current appearance until we get a better sense of when this movie starts shooting. We've heard a potential January start, but Pattinson recently mentioned six months of training. So we're looking at sometime between January and April. Pretty significant gap.

Indeed. In fact most comic book artists drew Penguin as chubby rather than fat. Even the 60's TV show had Burgess Meredith's Penguin that way. I prefer that dapper chubby Penguin;

I think it’s Farrell. Hard to say for sure yet, but that guy seems to have his general build. Hopefully we get more set pics soon to confirm if it’s him or not.
