You were right with molossus on the imax featurette Alex, but i forgot to mention it was the wmv hd download of just the footage on the main page, it has somethig different around 25 sec. mark. It doesn't sound like molossus to me on that one.

Well I can't read the print in the screenshot, but look at the colors and compare the one in the shot to this IL plate:
So maybe they changed the cursive to say "Gotham", but it's hard for me to tell in those pictures.

yeah sorry yurka and alex I didn't think of it when I posted it earlier. Cause Alex was right it was Molossus, but in the wmv footage it's deffinately something new. I remember in an interview with zimmer, and howard they said the theme for joker was a two note composition very much like the jaws theme. And when I listen to that new piece it kind of reminds of the jaws in a way.
I'm always up for film talk.Why make Gotham plates nearly identical to the Illinois plates? No one watching the film will even be able to tell they say "Gotham" with that impossible type from a distance.
Exactly! haha almost.. But they do it so if stray Illinois cars or trucks drive by while filming, they will blend in to Gotham perfectly
