Deep fried turkey actually has moisture and succulent taste retained in the meat. But I'm afraid of clogging my arteries before I'm 30. I already smoke.

Turkey is a dry, bland meat when cooked traditionally. That's why I pour ketchup all over it. Or stuff it in my pockets under the table and give it to the rats later.

I thought most deep fried turkeys used peanut oil which is one of the healthiest ones, no? No transfat I thought. :)

I don't think the one we had used peanut oil. Maybe. Or we didn't use peanut oil for the frying, whichever.

At any rate, I don't eat turkey often enough to bother buying a new one.

You are correct, squeek. Most turkey deep friers take peanut oil (something about vegetable oil can mess some of the friers up or some such thing) which is why I avoid eating people's deep fried turkey. I'm highly allergic to anything peanut. Last year I almost ate some, and my friend thank god mentioned that he had to go to the store to get peanut oil. I had no idea the friers used peanut oil. If he hadn't said that I'd likely be dead.

Would any of y'all recommend the anime, Berserk? I just discovered the anime thanks to PlayStation Network's flash sale and it looks really really good.

You mean I passed on deep fried turkey once because I incorrectly thought it was extremely unhealthy?

Oh well.

Yikes! That was close. It must suck to have to be so careful about what you eat or you'll die. :(

Yeah it's a major pain in the ass at times. Restaurants are generally good about advertising the use of peanut oil. Thai food is out of the question tho. Always wanted to try it. The most dangerous part is eating at people's houses. People can be random with their cooking and the idea that a guest might have a peanut allergy doesn't cross everyone's mind not that expect it too, but it can make things kinda scary and awkward. They lay a nice spread out for me and bust their ass on a meal and I have to ask them what's in it. I feel rude doing it but such is the way of living with a peanut allergy.

I really need to get an epi-pen. Used to have one but it expired and they aren't cheap.

If you give up cigarettes you get deep fried turkey!

See, this makes no sense to me. Seems to be that anyone who suffers from such a serious allergy should get a steep discount for such things. It's life or death. :(

Wow that must be hard at times. But surviving is better than being overpolite, nothing ruder than dying over dinner lol.

*munchies on some Beef Jerky* Mmmm nom nom nom..

I had the strangest of dreams last night...but can't remember but I think it had something to do with AoS... I would like to say that in one of the dreams, this woman came out of nowhere and she looked exactly like Adrianne Palickie...heh...lickie....hahaha. anyway, she says to me, "Come with me if you want to live," and I was like... "Whoa? huh?" Then all of the sudden there was a crash and the side of the building collapsed... Hydra came in and started shooting at me. eep. But the woman kicked some ass...

yeah peanut is what we sell most of. there is a blend by Louana too but i forget what the blend is. i wanna say canola/peanut

Well, I watched enough episodes of Forensic Files to know for certain that you just can't get away with murder. Cops is just too smart. :p

lol.... I cant wait for the next episode of AoS...Alien City, here I come!

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving doing...whatever it is you did.
I ate, I exercised so I wouldn't fall asleep from eating too much, then parked my butt on the couch and watched tv all day. :p

walmart was an experience...went by myself, ended up seeing like at least 20 people i knew, almost half that i work with lol
it kinda blew my mind how some people were whining about having to wait, and how busy it was, and how some of the doorbusters were selling out or had lines etc. this might've been my first legit official "black friday" shopping, but i expected this.
likewise, i expected long waits in the checkout lines, registers going down, etc etc and all of this stuff went on around me. the kid who rang me up was really nice and although he had problems with my GC and needed a manager's key, i was completely patient and positive with him. considering the ridiculous people in line behind me, i knew he'd need it. it wasn't his fault that the system was breaking down on them.

my 1st haul:
Despicable Me 2 + 3 mini movies - 3.96
The Other Woman - 9.96 - 5.00 coupon = 4.96
300: Rise of an Empire - 6.96
Sleeping Beauty - 9.96
Turtles Trio - 6.96
Sharpie Set - 8.88 lol

50" tv. - $218 with one hour guarantee
Ads and balloons in storm all say Vizio, so i'm crossing my fingers but not really counting on it. But if the papers they were handing out, as well as the balloons to get in line for the product say that name, that's what I'm supposed to get right?

total: 293.58 - 177.66 GC = 116.25

while in line i look down and found a voucher for another tv. decided to bite in case it's the Vizio. If not, i'll either gift it or sell it to make back some of what I spent.

total: 231.08

I had to work...Watching a bit of season 2 of AoS. lol.. :p

2015 will be a better year for me in terms of...finances... I hope so. I really wanna do a lot with my money next year.
