Peter and Clark are very different but are similar in that they both use their powers to benefit mankind. And they fake having eye problems.


Mary Jane and Lois are VERY different. They are the main characters love interest and later spouses and thats all they have in commom.


Once again Kingpin and Lex are very different. Kingpin uses is cunning and wits to manipulate others but at the same time using his powerful physical presence to also threaten those against him. Kingpin operate on the crime lord level. Lex prefers a scientific(or at least he is doing that now) method to destroy Superman.Lex operates at the Super Scientist level. Although Lex can manipulate just as well. Besides Kingpin isn't really Spidey's arch foe.

Has anyone even read the famous crossover comic "Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man"? that's a classic that started the whole crossover thing especially the sequels like "Superman/Spider-Man" and "DC vs. Marvel".

Here's my take on the similarites of both heroes and their friends and enemies:

Peter Parker and Clark Kent both work for the press and both have superhuman strength.

Mary Jane and Lois Lane have similar sounding names and are the love interests of the heroes.

Spidy and Supes both wore black costumes at one time in their life.

Kingpin and Lex Luthor are both ruthless and smart evil geniuses who come up with daring plans to kill the heroes and are both bald with tastes in suits.

Spider-Woman and Supergirl are like the female versions of the hero.

Venom and Bizarro are the evil twins of the heroes and would kill their mortal enemies.
