Computer issue.

Okay. Weird crap is going on over here on my computer. First my Virus program says it's Shell Extension is no longer present. Then.... I can't open any programs at all. It says that Windows can't find the file or whatever or I may not have permission to access that file. The only things I can work are the four programs I already have open. My wordpad, AIM, Yahoo IM, and Opera.

What the heck is going on?

what virus program is it? I would say restart your pc see if that helps but if you cant open anything you might not be able to get back onto the net haha

Well I restarted and everything works fine, but for some odd reason, it says that Opera has some corrupt files now. It's weirdness. I swear.

anyway you can uninstall it and put it back on?

Hmm. Opera works fine for something that has corrupt files. And the virus program is fine. So I have no clue.

Windows XP.

If you reboot do the same programs as you mentioned above still work? Can you open any folders?
