Conan on TBS

I bet they will be doing one of those porno spoofs of TDKR anyway :oldrazz:

I honestly haven't missed an episode since the move to TBS.

I check out who the guests are first and then decide if I want to watch. Since it was Joel McHale last night, I knew I had to see it!

Mo 5/14: Chelsea Handler, Billy Eichner, Doyle & Debbie (R 1/10/12)
Tu 5/15: Bill Maher, Gregg Allman
We 5/16: Liam Neeson, Marc Maron
Th 5/17: Brooklyn Decker, Rufus Wainwright

I guess Monday is when he'll be in NYC taping Letterman. He's scheduled for next Thursday.

I haven't watched his show from start to finish since it moved to TBS. :csad:

Ahh...to be that "wall" :woot:

Did you notice that she kicked "Little Coco"? After 19 years, this is probably Conan's favorite moment as a talk show host. I lol'd so much when he ran around, fists pumping in the air, and then said, "greatest job in the world."

Jimmy Kimmel surpassed Jay Leno in the ratings. In the long run, NBC's decision to bring back Leno is backfiring on them.

Well Kimmel hosting the White House Correspondents Dinner helped him big in the ratings.

Saw Monday's episode online yesterday and it was messed up.

I love the show, but it bugs me when he flirts and acts gaga around his female guests, singers, actresses, because I know he has a wife and a child. Why do people like that? Is it actually something people enjoy? If you enjoy it why? Just curious.

A Blast from the Past: "The Conan O'Brien Story."

What I always enjoyed is the concept of a nerdy guy "thinking" that's the way to impress those women, the growling and over the top responses he'll have add to his physical humor as well. It's not like he's trying to actually impress the female guests this way but rather entertain both the guest and the audience as he knows how to.

Conan is a big fan of the old-school comedians, and he's basically aping a young Bob Hope when he pretends to go nuts over beautiful women. He's said as much in his interviews.
