Confused about release dates

Well I know that the release date is october 3 or something like that but when i was at my barnes and noble their release date thingy said that it was coming out on September 26?! Sorry if this has been covered in another thread but if anybody could clear this up it would be appreciated.

I work in retail.

Rest assured that the release date is October 3rd. Where Barnes & Noble got September 26th from, I have no idea. It's October 3rd.

Definitely expect October 3rd. My store even got our retail copies shipped in already, and they aren't being put out until that date.

Ok I just went back to my B&N and it now says october 3rd so problem solved.
