Confused over character of the Devil

I am not a big Ghost Rider fan.I know only basic stuff on the character,but I am wondering is the Devil in this movie Mephisto from the first film as in the demon lord or is it Lucifer from the bible?

The plot seems to revolve around this Blackout fellow trying to help him gain a human form..but he already had a human form in the first film (If they are the same character that is)

so whats the deal?

The character is Mephisto in the 1st movie. In this movie I believe it will mention mephisto having other names.

In the comic, GR battles both Lucifer and Mephisto. They are separate entities with specific physical differences...though sometimes it is hard to tell the difference as their goals are one in the same.
