the continuity on this show has a lot to be desired especially with the flash backs.

I mean a big flaw was when Hiro was with the girl who could remember everything.

In the first instance she is going to have her photo taken and she says I will be right back, in the flash back she says some thing different and beckons him over (cant remember what was said - but it wasnt that)

Has anyone else noticed

It wasn't a flashback, he went back in time.I think every timetravel causes a change in the timeline. Whether it's big or small, something always changes.

no you miss understood, what i was meaning was when you saw that episode of him going back 6 months you saw the conversation between hiro and the waitress but on the next episode you see that same conversation in previously on heroes type of thing but the continuity is way off

I know what you're saying, but claiming it's bad continuity is pushing it. In every instance of what you're talking about only a few words were different, but the meaning of what was said was exactly the same.

Maybe they used a different take.

That happens a lot. In the first scene or so after the 'Previously On...' the actors usually say different lines, either for brevity purposes or an alternative look at subtle interactions, but the meaning and essence remains the same, and what follows from there is the usual fashion.

And they'll have a different take or editing transition as well.

It's not bad continuity. It gives Heroes its uniqueness, among other things.

Its not bad continuity, it is just an extended aspect of the "previously on...". A way to transition into the week's episode. At least thats how I interpreted it.

I noticed the same thing. I'm in the middle of watching all the Heroes DVDs and caught it. In one episode (when he arrrives back in time), Charlie says, "I'll be right back". Then when she's at the cake, she calls him over. In the very next episode when she meets Hiro, she says she'll be right back, but then decides to invite him over before she ever gets to the cake. It seemed a little weird, but not too much of a big deal. The meaning of both is the same...I guess it was a different take.

I wouldn't blame it on "lack of continuity". Bad contiuity would be if Sylar said to Peter (at the Homecoming Game), "I know you, you're like me. Let's see how that works" when obviously the two had never met.
