she kicked her shoe at them and kick one in the shin...they then went on to beat her down. She's a felon...she has a record of stealing cars and other things...she then goes on to assault some cops...

To a certain extent. The girl is a pure idiot (and I'm sure her parents as well). While how brutal the cops were was seemingly unnecessary, she does deserve SOME damage, IMO.

However, the cops should be held responsible for going overboard...for example, did they really need to punch her in the face while she was on the ground? i don't think so...

The cops were definitely unnecessarily rough, but I can't say I'd have done much different. I probably wouldn't have gone as far as they did, just thrown her down and cuffed her to the bench.

You know, when people steal cars and stuff, they get punished by the 'law', not by the officers who supposedly enforce it. They get jail time, they get criminal records, they get community service. What they shouldn't get is some macho ****ing pork product tearing into them.

lol, no...i'm just a person who likes to keep things in their context and when the media says "teen brutalized by cops" i like to look into is to see if the cops just came of no where or if the kid TO A CERTAIN EXTENT deserved it.

I get raised properly. I don't get spoilt from my parents. I'm 14, and I already want a job. Gotta wait a few months till I'm 15, but as soon as i am, i am making my money, getting through high school, and living life as a normal person.
I don't need to be a popular kid. I don't need 'street cred' like these stupid *******s who get special treatment for doing something bad.

Teens need to know there place in society. and its definitely not on a throne, like they seem to think.
