Think about it a moment. Has the news ever reported that the hospitals are turning away flu patients and running out of coffins to bury them in? No.....because those 30,000 to 500,000 deaths are spread out over the year. The Covid-19 is filling up the hospitals inmass....it is killing the amount of people who would normally die from the regular flu in a half the year in a few weeks. That is the difference.

Exactly. We are still learning about this as well, whereas the flu is something of a known quantity.

To be fair, from what i have seen all over the world how people react...yes.
Im not a conspiracy theory fan, but what if this was all planned for exactly this reason...at least in america?
To make people scared, have them buy more guns and expensive medicine and...no, no this all happens because idiots run the country, i dont give them credit for such a plan that requires a brain.

So it turns out that the lady infected in my town is in her 40's and works at an elementary school as an office staff member and also parks part time at a recreation center.

They don't know how or when she was infected and how long but so local children and elderly(recreation center has elderly services)are potentially in danger

Following the White House's response for weeks and weeks is not the answer. We have to all be patient and vigilant.

This isn't a hoax or media hype, nor is it the end of civilization but there are real lives on the line. It may not be yours but someone else's. Someone else's father, mother, aunt, sister, brother son or daughter.

We need to be adults. We need to look at how what we do affects others because we will feel the affects of our actions in some way.

I live in the east of France, a region particularly touched by the pandemy. I have friends working at hospitals, the situation is heartbreaking and known by all but there's still people who don't care about the containment... The worst part is that when they'll be touched and survived, the'll be the first ones to want to teach moral to others about it.
