Corona and other diseases

@Iceman and other Brits around here. I am curious what you think of the new "3 tier" lockdown your government is attempting to implement. Think it will help? Is it too little, too late? How disillusioned do you think the people are? Watching the news broadcast from other there, it sounds like people have no idea what the government want from them half the time, and just throw their hands up and do what they want.
The plans haven’t been clearly communicated since the beginning and the government have never seemed on top of things. Most people I know are just using common sense at this stage.

Well, MI is quickly following WI's example once the Supreme Court embraced the virus.

Covid-19: Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer calls for circuit breaker

He has a point, but because it is the Opposition putting it forward? Watch the Government squirm their way out of even acknowledging it as a good idea, let alone implement it...
I think it is pretty clear what needs to be done over there. Especially as what is going to end up happening is going to end up forcing lockdown anyways, just with overrun hospitals. It's so sad.

Even if it has, this is the kind of important info we all need to see. So don't worry if it is a double post. :yay:

I think this is extremely relevant right now, with Trump running around calling himself immune. There is enough evidence now to show you can get the virus twice and the worry should be how much worse it could get the second or even third time around.

6500/day in germany. Last time so much was in april.
I really get scared go back to my classes...

We're literally currently playing the deadliest version of "this is why we can't have nice things".

The people throwing tantrums about restrictions can't see that we wouldn't necessarily have to keep locking down again if they would just behave the first time.
One global lockdown at the beginning and the virus would have had nowhere to go. Instead here we are near the end of the year with global case numbers still reaching new highs.

And going into winter still without any firm cohesive nationwide plans in place.
