Costumes you liked at first but don't much care for now.

yes, it does edge a bit too far into the joker's look. I've always thought that!

The manic potrayals of Riddler are far too similar to the over the top Joker that most bat-fans love!

There's much truth in that-which greatly contributed to this:

We should've seen it coming; although in Schumacher's world, all Bat-villains are Joker knock-offs.

Superficiall, perhaps. But in terms of what makes the characters tick, they're vastly different. As The Joker predates him, I see The Riddler as someone who's let his M.O. and the form of his madness be shaped by The Joker, but who's personal psychological make up is very, very different. Basically, he followed a fad of insane super villainy in Gotham that The Joker started, but his reasons for following the trend are not the same as The Joker's.

Not a particular costume, but I'm tired to death of Wolverine's never-ending costume changes.

I used to like Mr. Freeze's look. But really, he's a walking meat locker. Too much equipment, especially when you have Captain Cold who does the ice-man motif with just a parka and a couple of guns.

But Captain Cold doesn't need to stay refrigerated.

I really used to love Green Hornet's outfit, but when you think about it, all the detective/crime-fighter types dress to similar...

I mean look @ the Spirit, the Hornet, Dick tracy, the list goes on and on... COAT, FEDORA, GUN, MAsK...

the only difference is The Shadow, because his appearance changes from time to time!

sometimes it's an overcoat & slouch hat (NOT FEDORA)
other times it's a menacing black robe

That's why I'm not into ANY of those "detective" style outfits; no originality. Nothing eye-catching about any of them.

I think I hate that costume... I like the original Cyclops better

The 90's were a decade plagued by bad costume designs, characterized largely by useless accessories. Not the least of which was bulky shoulder pads, straps that served no real purpose other than to slow down the actual donning of the costume, & unnecessary pouches. Did anyone EVER see Cyclops take ANYTHING out of that utility belt at any time? I never did.

he kept his hair gel and extra lens cleaning rags in there, and some flea powder that he kept trying to sneak onto wolverine.

I'm not crazy about yellow either. And I like Wolverine's suit in some respects & hate it in others;
First, my likes-it has a nice design & a good use of color. I t does have a bit of an animalistic feel, but pretty much to the same extent as Batman in that regard.
Now my dislikes:
1-I HATE TRUNKS!
2-Wolverine is very much an anti-superhero & this suit was designed to make him moreso fit into the fraternity.
3-It clashes with his personality; I defy you to find me a guy who drinks, smokes cigars, rides a motorcycle & walks around generally carrying a bad@$$ attitude who would be willing to wear an outfit like that. Most guys with an attitude like Wolverine's would beat up a dude in tights on G.P.

thats why I like the brown color scheme.
I also like it when he just has a tank top and jeans with an x-men jacket over it. I see that as something he might wear.

Which is kinda why it fits him. Nobody's going to call him out on it since he's a badass mofo.

i agree, but the Singer suits were pretty bad as well... i think in those movis, they shoulda let em wear their regular duds... they did mostly, just the first movie had bad outfits

They would have looked like they were on their way to Mardi Gras or the Pride Parade. The movie outfits were fine.

I'd just expect him to feel uncomfortable. I remember this episode of the animated series where he had a flashback to WWII (how the hell he remembered I have no clue); he met Captain America, & commented that he wouldn't be caught dead in tights.

Oddly, I really didn't like the brown suit.

I don't mind it when any of the X-men wear civilian clothing! It makes them look more realistic, as well as less gaudy

I never got into that suit in the first place. I liked JPV's original costume.

i thought when it first came out it was bad as hell, but since then it has worn out its welcome. it's overkill like JPV was

I liked it back when it first came out because it different.. In the 90s things were different and the more pouches a person had the more you know they'd kick serious ass.
