*For the purposes of this thread, we're going to expand the definition of "on film" to include TV shows & animation.
1. Superman. Never really been a big fan of his comics, but I enjoy Smallville, I liked the 90's animated series, & even dug "Lois & Clark" for a while. I'm not big on his live-action movies, despite the top-notch performance given by Christopher Reeve.
2. Venom. Yes, I was once as big a Venom fan as any Spidey fan can be, but in the mid-to-late 90's I got sick of him. I actually think his depiction in Spider-Man 3 made more sense, while I liked the fact that in Spectacular, he didn't bring his downfall/disgrace on himself.
3. Spawn. Enjoyed the movie, flaws & all, liked the first season of TAS. Hate the comic with a passion.
4. Evey Hammond. I just felt she lacked substance in the GN.
5. Ultimate Avengers. They are such A-holes in the comics it's unreal.
6. Blade. Loved the movies. Liked the series. (plot-wise; the action would've been better if Sticky could fight.) Comics are lame as hell & he's a very uninteresting character, IMO. Made even moreso by Marvel's repeated failed attempts to capture the movie incarnation.
7. Punisher. I enjoyed the 2004 movie but I am just not a big Punisher fan.

Iron Man - Never a big fan of his comics but the Movie was awesome.

Superman - Pretty much the same. I still liked the movies (well the first two) even Returns to certain degree. If they had just done a little recasting and gotten rid of the kid, might have been alright.

I really liked the 1st Crow movie even though I haven't read the comic book.

Also from his first appearance in comics to the killing joke etc... the Joker has always been my favourite fictional character in the world. But now my favourite incarnation of the character is Heath in TDK. (so it's not like I didn't much care for the character in comics, like I said I loved him, but for me Heath changed things... forever.)

I forgot Iron Man. He's a *****ebag. But his movie was awesome. Then again, the movie exploited his flaws rather than shying away from them.

I never felt an urge to read a Crow comic & I loved that movie.

I don't think that counts. You liked him before, you liked him after.

Oh, and I'll add Toad to my list. He's ridiculous in comics but Singer & Co. made him dangerous.

The Crow for sure. Never really got into the books but I LOVE that film.

And Iron Man also. Even though I am liking the books at the moment with the Dark Reign stuff going on, I never used to.

I thought [BLACKOUT]NOrman Osborn was Iron Man in the Dark Reign story arc.[/BLACKOUT]

Well, I suppose you could say he is, sorta.

Tony Stark is still about, but he has had to use his old Iron Man armour and is on the run.

Osbourne got access to all his other armours and is now called the Iron Patriot.

Isnt it weird to see Norman as something other than Gobby? It's just a little weird to me seeing him in Iron Man armor..

Yea. I think it won't be long until we see him don the green and purple again though. I reckon he'll eventually snap again and go on a rampage or something.

I could also say Gambit. I've just never been heavily into him. Cool power? Yes. Interesting choice of weapon? Sure. BUt as a character he just never grabbed me. However-

this is cool.

Blob. Of course, I've never read anything with him in it. But the how he appears in X-Men:TAS doesn't interest me.

Yea I thought the movie version of Blob was better than the comic version. Had more depth.

Yea definitely. I liked that they actually gave a reason for him ending up...a Blob :D

I liked the movie version of Toad way better then the spineless annoying lackey for Magneto in the comics. Plus that costume was godawful.

The movie version had attitude and a sense of humor. Plus he wasn't useless in combat like the comic Toad as he was able to knock around Jean, Storm, and Cyclops pretty well. Even the X-Men Evolution version was better then the comic Toad as he served as the comic relief.

Deacon Frost, you mean?
Truth be told, I never got to know him in the comics.
