Marshal Law was an awesome series imho. The anti-hero edge he had was a breath of fresh air to the comic genre. What I was wondering could it or should it be made on a Sin City budget (40 mill) and be successful. Would people pay to watch the main guy hunt super-heroes gone bad?

I think within the next 5 years we may see an movie.
It's a little too hardcore for most hero fans.
It would have to be approached like watchmen in the granduer and nolans batmans for its story telling.
Focus on the character 'Joe' and his fight againts the system of supermen that the misleading government created and the idealistc stand they take on them.
There is alot of mileage in him if he gets the right treatment.
So, yep I think we may be ready for him sooner than we expect. We are getting AntMan!! Who'd have thunkd that?

No, they shouldn't make one. There is absolutely zero need for the kind of ultra-cynical, satirical deconstructionism in the movies. Lets stick to adaptations of stuff that doesn't hate its own genre.

No. And that's by taking one look at the suit.

They should make movie about Marshall Law from Tekken instead.

HA I remember this comic from back in the day, yeah I think it may be a little too extreme for some audiences! and wouldn't really work as anything other than an R rated movie. Not sure enough people would know about it to be worthy of a film that enough people would actually go and watch it.
