Bryan Cranston as Commissioner Gordon.
I'd whole-heartedly agree with that choice too.

Bryan Cranston as Commissioner Gordon.
JAMES GORDON - KYLE CHANDLER (THE WOLF OF WALL STREET, SUPER 8)
Very underrated actor. I was thinking about picking Ethan Hawke for this role originally, but I think that Chandler is a much fresher face for the role of James Gordon, especially since Hawke has already played a cop in about two or more other movies, and especially since Chandler always brings real authority to his roles (he's fantastic in The Wolf of Wall Street). He's a very respectable actor and somebody you can easily count on for delivering a great performance.
Both Ethan Hawke and Kyle Chandler are great choices. They really don't get brought up a lot for this role. Ethan Hawke is one of my main choices for a Gordon who is around this new universe's Batman's age.
You know, I could get behind Bryan Cranston as Commissioner Gordon, but it seems like it's just going to be another repeat of Cranston as Lex Luthor.
Overall though I like these castings and your picks. There are a couple of people I don't know but these castings are a lot more exciting then seeing the same actors brought up for the same role which is usually the norm around here...
For an older and more grizzled Gordon, John Hawkes is my pick. He's an extremely underrated actor and a late-bloomer so I could see him showing interest in a franchise to get his name attached too.
