Considering I fall into both these categories, I'm gonna say it depends on the extremes it is taken too. not all Bronies are weird man children obsessed with everything Pony, but the fandom has spawned a lot of creativity. Music, animation, and yes, even fan fiction, its kind of amazing if you go deep enough.

Likewise, not all Juggalos are criminals, or believe in murder or take the music super seriously. I enjoy the music, have no criminal record, and have had alot of fun and met some great people at shows and stuff.

Thought of another one...

American Idol fanatics. I don't know why anyone watches that show to begin with, but the really hardcore ones tend to be insane. What amazes me about these people is that they seem to spend hours and hours and hours on the Internet, bashing contestants they don't like, rather than talking about the ones they actually do enjoy.

Also some fans always complain about movies not sticking close to the source material and once a movie comes out that does it (Watchmen, Batman Year One, ect)...they complain that it was uninteresting and "soulless"...

...this always irks me, but since I love living, I don't get into it with my friends who are like this.

Yeah, its transitioned from youngsters to oldsters t: (love that term ). I don't even remember the last time I watched an entire season......maybe when Adam Lambert was on (2009?)? I might check out the auditions when they advertise a crazy audition...

I used to know a couple of guys who were really, really into Wing Commander. They were pretty bizarre. Star Trek, Star Wars and all that stuff wasn't nerdy ENOUGH for them.

I remember laughing at them so hard when the trailer for the Wing Commander movie came out and it looked like the biggest turd to hit the sci-fi world since Flash Gordon.

I didn't mean crazy in a sense that they're all criminals. Crazy in a sense that they enjoy ICP's "music".

Well. I just looked up what a Brony is.

Yeah, that's pretty messed up.

To be fair, most people who watch MLP: FiM are pretty normal, well-adjusted people. A lot of them are married, have jobs, etc. It's just something they enjoy as a hobby or do for fun. As for myself, I'm not obsessed with the show, but I find it entertaining, sometimes even hilarious.

It's the rabid, die-hard fans, the ones that shove the show into your face, post .gifs everywhere they go, and proclaim it as the greatest thing ever, that give the show its bad reputation.

Then again, pretty much all fanbases have their extremely devoted fans which tend to turn off the Average Joe or Jane.

i´ve seen the show and i like it but im not a brony then i see a friend suscribed to a clopper fan page i find about it....

Cloppers A Brony who is Sick and perverted,. A Brony who makes Clopfics and shipping stories of Ponies from the show My Little Pony: Frienship is Magic. Cloppers Usually support rule 34 and even embrace it.
