She slashed them both till they were barely alive but was stoped when the janitor came in the room. History: On a fling. An accident, one that shook Mystique's beleifs about her future, Johnny was conceived. She looked at her other children. Nightcrawler. Rogue. Graydon Creed. The endless circle of hate she had created. She decided that it was enough and she raised her child as a normal midwestern suburban kid, Toad, eventually caught on, and though clearly a mutant, was passing enough for them to have a normal lifestyle. Johnny got his powers and wanted to explore his new life. Mystique knew where to send him....

I posted this in create a mutant thread but...
Ok, we all know that Wolverine and Mariko did the no pants dance at some point in their history, and a child came from that. Unfortunatley, the child was stolen from Mariko, and she never told Logan, because she did not want him to cause any more death because of her.
What Mariko never knew was that Weapon X had paid the hand to kidnap the child, and train him until his 10th birthday. So the child is trained in the arts of combat his entire life. The hand were instructed to brainwash the child. So he is brought up knowing who and what his father is, but he grew up thinking that Wolverine abandoned him and killed his mother (which isn't totally false.) This gives the boy a drive and will power that rivals anyone he meets. His hate is one of his greatest assets.
The hand discover early on that the boy possesses many of his fathers mutations. He has all of wolverine's abilities,(including the claws) except a slightly reduced healing factor (more the level of Wolverine's healing factor about 20-30 years ago in the comics) His sense of smell, sight, and hearing are even greater then that of his power. But he also has a few extra abilities, the most impressive being his skill in the manipulation of force.
The boy could absorb force and use it to his benefit. If a person punches him, he'll absorb the force behind the punch with not damage to himself, and store it within his body to use for himself. The catch is, the amount of force he absorbs all depends on how well he can center his mind. He has to have an amazing level of focus to absorb powerfull blows, but once he centers himself, its extremley hard to hurt him, you can stab, punch, kick, or shoot anybody if they can absorb the force behind the attacks.
He also has the ability to controll his balance. He would be able to balance himself on one finger with ease, and this allows him to be a very gracefull fighter.
The boy was taken from the hand at 10, and weapon X infuses the adamantium onto his skeleton. Of course, he resents this to the highest level, but he's not mad at Weapon X so much as he is at Wolverine. In the childs mind, everything that happens to him is because of his father, the government only did all this because they wanted to create the successfull agent that Logan never was.
The boy doesn't show his rage though, his training with the hand tought him control. So he works with Weapon X for six years, before he finally manages to escape, not by hacking his way out like his father, but by stealth and using his intellect. His intelligence level is close to Hank McCoy's at 16, he's a very smart kid.
The other big factor that sets him apart from Wolverine is that he hates killing. He loaths it, it was the one thing that the Hand thought he was weak on. The only person he truly wishes to kill is his father.
From here on I'd have him learn his true past and confront Wolverine. It would make for good drama, and an interesting conflict.
Of course, I came up with all of this before X23 came out, so now he'd just be considered another wolverine hack, but I always liked the idea.

Sooraya Qatar AKA 'Dust' (Afghani) = Teenage Sunni Muslim mutant, rescued from a slave ring in Afganistan by Wolverine. Wears a burqa and has the power to turn into a sandstorm form which enables her to travel great distances, blind and suffocate enemies, and flay flesh off people's bones. She's currently a student at the Xavier Institute and is one of the main characters in the New X-Men title.
Ruth bat-Seraph AKA 'Sabra' (Israeli) = Israeli Mossad supersoilder, and ally of the X-Men, has previously worked for X-Corporation. Her powers are; superhuman strength, speed, agility, endurance, reflexes, senses, durability, and increased healing factor. She can also pass on her powers to other people for a limited period of time. Also uses a anti-gravity cape to fly and has plasma wrist launchers. Last seen working for X-Corporations Mumbai, currently in comic book limbo. But is still powered after M-Day, persumibly she's either still working for Mossad or is a member of the Xavier estates 198.
Monet Yvette Clarisse Maria Therese St. Croix AKA 'M' (Half French/Arabic Algerian)= Mixed race Arabic Algerian/French daughter of Algerian imbassader to Monaco. Former orignal member of Generation X, and X-Corporation Paris. Mutant power is superhuman strength, speed, agility, endurance, reflexes, invulnerability and intelligence, night vision, hearing, healing factor, flight, and low level telepathy allows her to read minds, wipe minds, and implement mental suggestions to base-line humans and mutants without telepathic defenses. Is currently a member of the new X-Factor team.
Haroun ibn Sallah al-Rashid AKA 'Jetstream' (Ethnic Arb, Moroccan) = Member of Emma Frosts original Hellfire Club Hellions, mutant power to eject plasma thrust from his legs for flight (like the X-Men Cannonball). However requires cybernetic implants to aide guidance as first time his powers manifested, burnt his legs horribley. Was killed along with most of Hellions during the Sentienel/Fitzroy attack on the hellfire club.
'Sage', realname unknown presumably 'Tessa' (Either Balkan or Afgahni) = Her past is a mystery so we don't exactly know where she is from, but we do know she is either from Afganistan of the Easter Blakan countries, as she met Xavier while she was a teenager during the Russian invasion of Afganistan. Her mutant power has caused her brain to function like that of a super computer and is quite computer giving her mind direct access to all forms of technology. Limited form of telepathy (that she has perminently turned off out of fear, after being psychicly raped). Able to analyse the genetic makeup of people at a glance and activate or power boost mutant power. Formerly a member of the Hellfire Club, but was infact a spy planted by Xavier. When her cover was blown he joined the X-Men as Mansion Tech. and a member of Storm's XSE. She has currently renewed her affilation with a newly formed Hellfire Club, and is a member of New Excalibur.

'Sage', realname unknown presumably 'Tessa' (Either Balkan or Afgahni) = Her past is a mystery so we don't exactly know where she is from, but we do know she is either from Afganistan of the Easter Blakan countries, as she met Xavier while she was a teenager during the Russian invasion of Afganistan. Her mutant power has caused her brain to function like that of a super computer and is quite computer giving her mind direct access to all forms of technology. Limited form of telepathy (that she has perminently turned off out of fear, after being psychicly raped). Able to analyse the genetic makeup of people at a glance and activate or power boost mutant power. Formerly a member of the Hellfire Club, but was infact a spy planted by Xavier. When her cover was blown he joined the X-Men as Mansion Tech. and a member of Storm's XSE. She has currently renewed her affilation with a newly formed Hellfire Club, and is a member of New Excalibur.

I think that Nocturne should have a kid with cable.
The child would be related in some way to half the characters in the X-Universe.. and combining the potnetial in cables bloodline.. with the power in wanda+Magnetos bloodline... its gonna be some crazy powerful baby.

History: Several months after consummating her relationship with Gambit and regaining her powers Rogue learns that she is pregnant.During a reapperance of Sinister,the villain kidnaps Rogue and learns of her pregnancy.Before his defeat he delivers a comment about her body not being a life-giving vessel.Rogue then fears that her body's natural abilities will suck the life force out of the child.Over the next few months Gambit and Rogue have it out over the issues theyve had in the past and finally come to a reconciliation,with Remy even suggesting they get married and do things properly.Soon after Gambit is apparently killed by Shinobi Shaw.Rogue goes ballistic and beats the hell outta Shaw,and ends up absorbing him.However she doesn't feel the effects as strongly as her other absorptions,and wonder if she is perhaps now sharing the burden of her powers with her unborn child.Rogue goes on hiatus and receives plenty of prenatal care and the baby appears healthy.During a visit,the mansion is attacked and Rogue goes into labor.After lots of drama she is brought to a hospital for mutants and gives birth to her baby boy.During the labor however,Rogue is seen struggling in anguish,feeling all the memories of those she's absorbed,and sharing an empathic connection with her son.She feels his pain and his fear.Its a very intense experience.After being exhausted for hours Rogue wakes up to find the X-men by her side.She asks the nurse to see her son,and the woman seems hesitant.She speaks outside to the doctor who looks at Rogue with a concerned expression.Rogue starts getting worried and a bit irritated.The child is finally brought in by the person wrapped in a blanket.Rogue reaches out to her son,but the nurse pulls away immediately.Rogue believes that perhaps the nurse is reluctant because her son turned out a deformed mutant,but she insist that it doesnt matter and that she just wants to hold him.
Rogue: What are doing?
Nurse: I'm sorry...its just that.
Rogue: Hand me mah son!
Nurse: I'm sorry,I can't let you touch him.
Rogue's jaw drops and she learns her son is not a mutant,and therefore would be killed instantly is she touched him.

I didint know that, i thought that everything that contained her x-gene was deadly.
I came up with tese characters waaaaay back when I was in college and read some of these "grandchildren of the atom" stories. Some of the pairings were flash in the pan but I likes. I may still finish writing this. They interact with mutants that are still growing up (Leech, New X-men,) original characters and future X-men and superheroes: Franklin Richards, Rachel Summers, May Parker.
