Critics' Reviews: Discussion

HAHA...what is important is that the explosions were timed perfectly:up: HAHAHAHAHA

Wow, my worst prediction was spot on, it looks like. I predicted 35%, and that's exactly where the tomatometer is right now. Just remember, I called this one!

Yo Chase you seen the vid?
No. I am going tomorrow morning, first showing, and am going to watch it so that I can write my review. I have a friend who works for the theatre so he said if we get there early enough, we can watch it for free because they won't sell out tickets.

No I mean the vid of the Deadpool scene? Or are you waiting to see if you get it?

Yeah it was...that guy sounded like 24 from Venture Brothers.

That was just as anti-climactic as I could have imagined. So Barakapool is still alive, oh joy. All that talk about him turning out to be a Wade clone is just bullocks. Thanks Fox, but I'm still going to pray Marvel finds some way to squeeze the Deadpool movie rights out of you and make the movie on their own.

I think it was alright. We know he is alive, he breaks the fourth wall. His eyes are badly scorched so I doubt the optic blasts work anymore. And the arm blades can be easily rectified. What's the problem?

I may unban him just for the sheer entertainment of it all.
We are SO mean.

But you should totally do it. :hehe:

:funny: that AICN Harry finally has a grudge against XO: Wolverine. And after Jackman did all he could to win them over....Fox decides to screw it up by not allowing them into the screening. :funny:

Although to be fair, they probably knew that it would have been torn to shreds. :o

Ok Harry Knowles won't even watch it and review it what does this tell you? Can we seriously start a boycott Fox group?

How about a whole forum devoted to this purpose? I'd be happy to moderate it.

Was he permanently banned? I'll have to check. For some reason I thought he was on probation until after the film opened.

We NEEDZ him...for entertainment purposes. Hell...I needz him. :)

I like that. You got my support.

In response to the statement posted on AICN written by Harry:"wowzers".

Now on to the "Deadpoop" ending that was pretty horrid. It would have been better not to include that at all. The damage was already done. This little snippet of mediocrity isn't going to redeem the entire movie.

This isn't Deadpool in my head, its just a silly error from the result of a studio that could care less about an already dying franchise, I mean just take a look at the writer they have set up for "First Class".

X-Men's cinematic days of substantive entertainment are coming to a screeching end.

Josh Schwartz, and he's been in the process of writing it.

He is a creator/co-creator and writer of The O.C., Gossip Girl, and Chuck.

To be fair, I just watched a movie based on script written by the writer of The Kite Runner that features an exchange between the Blob and Wolverine that sounds like it could be written by a writer from America's Funniest Home Videos. Schwartz could be good. You never know.
