Da Vinci Code Extended Cut???

I heard that the DVD outside of the US and Uk got an extended cut. What else did they add to this borefest?

Didn't see it, precisely because I heard it was, as you put it, a borefest.

Although movies like Kingdom of Heaven somehow feel shorter when they add more.

We brazilians got an extended cut.
DVD is absolutely awesome. Great featurettes.

As for the movie itself, I really can't figure what they've added since I don't remember much of the original theater cut.
But the movie is still pretty interesting.

Honestly in my humble opinion

I actually think Davinci Code is, when all is accounted for (Actors, director, producers, source material, budget) the worst movie ever

i had this conversation not like 1 day ago with some friends, so i haven't thought it through a whole lot, but as of right now that is my opinion

When I went to see TDC I didn't expect especial effects, explosions and accion and fight scenes. I got what I expected (and the movie is very faithful to the book).

on the other hand, when I went to see SR I expected especial effects, explosions, adventure, and accion and fight scenes. But I didn't get what I expected.

In conclusion, Superman Returns sucked and The DaVinci Code is a very good movie.

Yes, the movie is very faithful to the book but they could had made it a bit more.....exciting. As far as SR goes I wasn't expecting Donner's Superman or X-men 2 so I got what I wanted.

I think people had 2 problems with SR, one was not enough action and two was that Lois Lane had a kid.

In my opinion both where real rough, with SR being the better

I feel Davinci Code wanted to be National Treasure so bad, it actually made a worse movie than National Treasure

I mean if you like it great, like I said before I think it considering the actors, driectors, and producers envolved, and the source material (weather that be screen play, book, or other adaptaion) and budget, this is the worst movie ever, now i didn't think it was worse than Art School confidential, but that movie is minus one of the 10 best leading actors, 10 best director, and some of the absolute best supporting actors you could possibley ask for, and was made for about 100 million dollars less, and not an adaptation of such an interesting book.

Like i said i had this conversation with some friends, and one of them three up MI-2, and I kind of like MI-2 so I was kind of know where those of you who liked it, and are reading my posts about the flick, are coming from

I thought they turned an interesting story boring, and made round characters with great actors flat

Yes, I did like the book. I heard A&D was better though{haven't gotten a chance to read that yet}

Angels and Demons is definately the better book... More in depth, gives characters more depth, awesome story...really discusses the power antimatter could have as well... you should definately read it...

Hopefully Tom Hanks reprises his role in and Angels and Demons movie.
